Got some bad news today. There will be severe weather on the Milford Track this weekend. This is where dad is going to do his training. 

Ah, nooooooo! 

Been waiting for this for so long. I will have to wait and see what the DOC say about walking the track. Four days walking on this track in this forecasted weather is very dangerous.

We’ll see.

Your day been good girls?

I have another letter almost done. If I have gone on the hike I wont be sending the letter till I get back which is on the 7th of February. But on the other hand its looking like I may be here. The letter will be sent on Monday.

My day was good. Lunch time was best for me. Sat under my tree and read a book then wrote some letter to you both. Mabel, how does it feel to be 3 years old?
